Hello! I have quite a few things to announce this post, so I'll try to keep it interesting! First off, my Hush, Hush/100 followers contest ended on the 22nd. I have already chosen the winners (There were three winners but only one received a copy of Hush, Hush) and will be posting them within the next couple days.
I also want to announce that I will be holding ANOTHER contest for reaching 200 followers!! Thank you all so much-- I really appreciate all your comments. Which brings me to ask: What type of books would you like to win? I put a poll on my left sidebar and it would be great if you guys would vote. It ends on the 30th because I kinda want to start the contest asap. :)
Another thing I am curious about-- What do you guys think of swag contests? I know I personally LOVE swag, but what about you? I would have more contests more frequently if I knew what kind of things you guys liked! So feel free to share your comments (Please!) They help more then you know. ;D
Also, October will be a special month. As some of you know, I was born on October 31st, so I have decided to do something special. Earlier on, I had a poll that asked all of your opinions on a Themed Month-- well the results are in and you all voted for "Things That Go Bump In The Night" SO! That will be my October theme! But, since it is such a vague topic, I have decided to split it up in four (for each week).
-The First week of October (4th-10th) will be Vampire themed. I will post reviews on Vampire Books and have a guest post** from a blogger on his/her take on Vampires in YA.
-The Second week of October (11th-17th) will be Werewolf themed. Reviews on Werewolf themed books, guest posts** and a giveaway for this week!
-The Third Week of October (18th-24th) will be Ghosted Themed. I will post reviews on Ghost themed books and have a guest post** from a blogger with a ghost story of their own. I also plan to post a few ghost stories of my own xD.
-The Fourth week of October (25th-31st) will be... a surprise! It will have multiple types of creatures that go bump in the night and will end with a contest on the 31st! Guests posts**, a few Halloween themed things from me and lots more.
So that is what I have planned for October! Look forward to lots of unusual things heading your way-- Oh! And a temporary layout change to go along with the theme!
** If you are interested in guest posting for any of these, shoot me an email. A few of them I already have someone in mind, but I would love to have more then one guest post! Email me at: taintedpoet@gmail.com

I do love vampires...
ReplyDeleteU have a lot going on girl!
I also love swag... it would be great to have some swag giveaways. Sure, I'm always looking for more books to win/check out, but hey, sometimes it's nice to do something different. And I'm really looking forward to October now!!
ReplyDeleteNice! I'll be looking forward to a spooky and spectacular month of October!
ReplyDeleteI've never won Swag so it'd be pretty awesome if I did! I find that I love bookmarks more ever since I started winning them, lol. You're a halloween baby? I used to have a friend with the same birthday. It's pretty cool ;)
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm so excited for this Eli! :D
Halloween will be much more sweeter this year >]

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to October here.
Are you going to have a Halloween Birthday Party?
All the best,

I will definitely have to stop by in October :D
ReplyDeleteWow, I am doing the exact same thing on my blog for Halloween. Each week is going to be themed and they are going to be themed in the exact same order as yours O.o My third week will be Ghosts and Demons, though.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, swag contests are cool!
Sounds awesome, can't wait! And yes, swag contests are also pretty awesome. (:

I like awag contests very much. Especially for bookmarks. You can never have too many of them (well, actually, I have a few, but somehow they're never handy when I need one, so I mark my pages with everything that's lying around - old postcards, shop receipts, tissues... or I just lay down the dook open to the page I want to mark.)
